WW

appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for

STEP 1 is the one where they stopped and it came back isnt it, has anyone read the actual numbers

ST

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

NP

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room

NP

how much regain did people get in the first 21 months after stopping
i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand

did anyone drop the dose for maintenance or just stay where they were

TO

how do you decide youre actually at maintenance rather than just stalled

TO

food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me

TO

i put 24 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round

maintenance is harder than losing because there is no number going down to keep you interested, not advice obviously

TO

is maintenance different between retatrutide and the others or is that all anecdote

there is no trial on every ten days or every fortnight. people here do it and report on it and that is all we have, from memory

i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose

resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous

BB

nobody here can tell you whether to stop. we can tell you what happened to us when we did

went back up, no regrets

YV

while im here protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive, still working it out

YV

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan

*that should say weekly

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it

regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says

update on the earlier thing how do people handle a two week holiday at a maintenance dose

right so two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation

whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about

a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved

i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else

PT

everybody i have seen stop and hold it did something else as well, without exception in my time here

PM

lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up
