Highlights from this day
  • melb_meniscus — appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it 18:36
  • quiet.hours — appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for 19:30
  • split_shipment — protein went up during maintenance for me rather than down, which was completely counterintuitive, we shall see 20:25
  • cold_chain_cmdr — SURPASS-2 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion 21:32

nobody here can tell you whether to stop. we can tell you what happened to us when we did

the food noise came back at the lower dose, does it settle again

SS

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it, someone check my working

lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up, anyway

MM

appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

no data on that

i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me

SS

am i the only one finding maintenance harder than losing was
coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

genuine question i lift twice a week specifically because losing fast without it cost me more than i was willing to lose, ask me again in a month

SS

the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it

TT

a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved

SURPASS-2 is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
