if i go back up after regain does it work the same the second time
#maintenance 2026-03-07
- ash_assays — i put 37 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round 05:37
- apnoea_down_two — whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about 06:40
- apnoea_down_two — maintenance is harder than losing because there is no number going down to keep you interested 06:50
- osaka_assay — a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved 07:42
- ash_assays — unrelated but FLOW is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion 07:54
cost did not drop at maintenance for me because i went to a lower dose from the same vial and just used it slower, anyway
lift twice a week
how long did people stay at treatment dose after hitting goal
stopped 15 months ago and put 20 back on, what did people do at that point
appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it
if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room
set a trigger weight
how much regain did people get in the first 11 months after stopping
update on the earlier thing anyone gone off entirely and stayed off successfully
coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month
no data on that
thats fluctuation
come down slower than that
dropping to a maintenance dose was uneventful for me and completely miserable for somebody i talk to weekly
i put 37 back on after stopping and then went back on it. it worked the same the second time round
same as a bp tablet
thats SELECT

i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
[edited]no official dose
protein up not down
harder than losing
[edited]i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan
[edited]weekly not daily
[edited]went back up, no regrets
did anyone drop the dose for maintenance or just stay where they were
am i the only one finding maintenance harder than losing was
the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve, thats just me
a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved
mine held
unrelated but FLOW is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
mine didnt hold
nobody here can tell you whether to stop. we can tell you what happened to us when we did
is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 24
still at maintenance
