lower frequency maintenance is genuinely unstudied. anybody telling you it is proven is making that up
#maintenance 2025-04-21
- ruo_only — follow up FLOW is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion 23:10
- taper_or_not — is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 1 23:21
- retention_time — two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month… 23:51
how do you decide youre actually at maintenance rather than just stalled
a 10mg vial at a 2mg maintenance dose is five weeks of doses, so my monthly cost roughly halved
i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
i dropped from 5 to 0.25 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months
whats a realistic amount of regain to accept rather than panic about
follow up FLOW is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion
thats fluctuation
food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me
holidays at maintenance are fine, i take the dose on the day and stop thinking about it
[edited]if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room, ill dig out the number
harder than losing
is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 1
went back up, no regrets
while im here im holding at 12 for maintenance and wondering whether i should be lower
the maintenance conversation barely existed in here two years ago and now it is half the channel
unrelated but i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan, someone check my working
slightly off topic but resistance training two or three times a week is what the room converged on and it is not glamorous
update from 4 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal, anyway
*PeptideMeter not the other one
does anyone budget for maintenance being cheaper or is it the same £38 a month
no data on that
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, which is a horrible sentence and also what the data says
i weigh weekly at maintenance rather than daily and my range is about two kilos either side, anyway
two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation
coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month
