i went to every ten days at a low dose and it held for me. n of 1, and i keep saying that out loud
i came off for four months, put 87 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers

dropping to a maintenance dose was uneventful for me and completely miserable for somebody i talk to weekly

i weigh weekly at maintenance rather than daily and my range is about two kilos either side

AO

sorry to jump in two or three kilos up and down is normal fluctuation. ten is a different conversation

the muscle question is the one i wish i had taken seriously at month two instead of month twelve

appetite returning is not the drug failing, it is the drug doing less because you are taking less of it

coming back to this i tried to come down and could not hold it, went back to treatment dose, and stopped apologising for it
coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month

*Janoshik not the other one

coming down too fast was my mistake. top rung to the bottom rung inside a month and it was a bad month, thats one data point

AA

stopped 12 months ago and put 12 back on, what did people do at that point

how much regain did people get in the first 5 months after stopping

CO

right so SELECT is the stopping one. weight came back on for most people once the drug stopped. that is the finding, not an opinion

CO

if you find maintenance harder than the losing part you are in the majority in this room

AA

did anyone regret dropping the dose too fast

FM

i was wrong about maintenance being the easy part and i had said so loudly for a year beforehand

VB

CO

unrelated but i stayed at treatment dose for four months past goal and then came down slowly. that order was right for me

FI

i set a trigger weight instead of a target. if i cross it i go up a rung. that is my entire plan

PF

is there any trial data at all on a lower frequency schedule
i came off for four months, put 29 back on, and came back. no drama in it, just numbers

CO

follow up im at goal and nobody has told me what happens next, whats the room doing

MS

the honest answer to is this forever is that nobody knows and the drug only works while you are taking it

did your maintenance dose end up higher or lower than you expected it to

🤝1

i think about it the way i think about my blood pressure tablet, and that framing helped me more than anything else

food noise coming back at a lower dose settled again after about four weeks for me

whats your rule for when a fluctuation becomes a regain

is this forever or is that just how it feels at month 16
there is no official maintenance dose. it is a thing we do because the alternative on the table was stopping

i dropped from 10 to 2 for maintenance and held steady for fourteen months, i could be wrong

FM

appetite came back over about three weeks after i reduced, not all at once, which is what i had braced for

update on the earlier thing is maintenance different between tirzepatide and the others or is that all anecdote

PC

update from 1 months ago: still at maintenance, still boring, which was always the goal, i think
