PeptideMeter has been the fastest for us. Medutest has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab

- chain_of_custody — chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup roughly one sample in 6 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally 17:06
- dog_person_dev — do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder 17:46
- dog_person_dev — a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement 17:53
- blank_run — is it worth including a reference standard in the batch 19:24
- secretagogue_sy — i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests, still working it out 19:27
chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup
roughly one sample in 6 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally
turnaround has been between 18 days and twice that depending on the queue, n of 1 obviously
[edited]keep half back
dont send your only vial
do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder
slightly off topic but i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing
count me in
a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement
powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control
i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones
declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is
we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice
two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like
a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial
send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it
genuine question including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process
is it worth including a reference standard in the batch
i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests, still working it out
Reminder for secretagogue_sy: dose day is today. Set 5 days ago.
whats the failure rate on samples actually arriving
is there a preferred lab for quantity specifically
roughly one sample in 4 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally
