  • coa_or_cope — do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt 16:18
  • orfor_watch — the split works from about 9 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth, thats just me 18:06
  • egfr_ed — powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control 18:48

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue

we do not help with wording beyond that and the mods are strict about it

including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process, still working it out

LT

the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

CO

do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt

LT

update from 24 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine

CO

do we publish the raw report or a summary
including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process

EE

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

EE

Medutest has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab
powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

OW

for the archive send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it

can i add a second lot to the same submission

OW

the split works from about 9 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth, thats just me

publish the raw

OW

coming back after 10 months, is the submission process the same

OW

quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not, we shall see

roughly one sample in 8 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally

EE

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

EE

i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests

*Janoshik not the other one

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like, i think

we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see, i have it written down somewhere

RR

is there a queue position i can check

submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust

EE

i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones

DE

what happens if a submission gets lost in transit
i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

QH

how much sample does the lab need for purity plus quantity
we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see

HH

turnaround has been between 20 days and twice that depending on the queue, for what its worth

*PeptideMeter not the other one

how many people do we need before the split is worth it
