anyone want to co-fund a quantity test on a lot i already own
#lab-requests 2026-03-11
- knees_first — right so Medutest has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab, ill dig out the number 22:30
- lena_lots — quick one is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it 22:37
- VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way. 22:44
- knees_first — the split works from about 9 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth 22:45
code not name
roughly one sample in 6 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally
dont send your only vial
count me in
blinded obviously
coordinating this round
can i add a second lot to the same submission
publish the raw
right so Medutest has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab, ill dig out the number
is there a preferred lab for quantity specifically
queue is posted
whats the split
thats the turnaround
quick one is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it
how much sample does the lab need for purity plus quantity
if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer
unrelated but what compound should we prioritise for the next round
Purity check: no report on file for lot C-4402. Nothing logged either way.
the split works from about 9 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth
code compound submitted status
R-01 semaglutide 2026-02-14 reported
R-02 tirzepatide 2026-02-14 reported
R-03 retatrutide 2026-02-16 in queue
R-04 reference std 2026-02-16 reportedin for one
what happens if a submission gets lost in transit
i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests
turnaround has been between 12 days and twice that depending on the queue
keep half back
how do we stop the pool telling us about the pool instead of my vial
powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control
we publish the raw report. summaries hide the thing you needed to see
[edited]On this day 7 years ago this channel logged 31 messages.
for the archive are we blinding this one or does the lab know the source
add a standard
submissions go out blinded. the lab gets a code, not a supplier name. that removes one variable, it is not distrust
including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process
[edited]label the syringe
how long do you keep the retained half of the sample
send powder
[edited]do we publish the raw report or a summary
chain of custody in hobby testing is weak and we say so in every writeup, ymmv
i coordinate the round, collect the codes, and post every result including the dull ones
[edited]is it worth including a reference standard in the batch
do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt
do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder
declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is
i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing
we do not help with wording beyond that and the mods are strict about it
update from 13 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine
two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like
