Highlights from this day
  • VialBot — Purity check: no report on file for lot E-2205. Nothing logged either way. 18:10
  • VialBot — Verification log updated: TFC — evidence added, status unchanged. 18:23
  • power_through_no — do not send your only vial. that has happened twice and both times it hurt 18:42
  • peak_split — is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it 19:28
BR

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing, we shall see

BR

a code and a lot number on the syringe in permanent marker. that is the whole labelling requirement

two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like, i think

declare it as an analytical reference sample with a low value. that is what it is

DV

including a reference standard in the batch is the single best thing we ever added to this process

BR

anyone want to co-fund a quantity test on a lot i already own

BR

keep half back

we have never had a lab mix up a sample. we have had members mix up their own labelling twice

SD

powder if you can. reconstituted travels worse and adds a variable we cannot control

Janoshik has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab

while im here how are we splitting the cost this time

is it worth including a reference standard in the batch

if you want to know about your vial, you have to submit your vial. that is the whole answer

AN

update from 1 months ago: the blinding process is unchanged and it has held up fine

slightly off topic but how many people do we need before the split is worth it

PS

is there a submission going out this month and can i get in on it

AN

roughly one sample in 8 rounds has gone missing in transit. budget for it emotionally

the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

are we blinding this one or does the lab know the source

do you want the vial reconstituted or as powder

i would rather fund one careful quantity test than three purity tests
