#lab-requests 2025-02-16

Sunday19 messages6 participantstimes are UTC
Highlights from this day
  • step_one_sian — a pooled result tells you about the pool. it does not tell you about your vial 10:47
  • luerlok — coming back to this two labs on the same lot is a luxury but it is how we learned what inter-lab variance looks like 11:36
  • luerlok — follow up the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive 11:38
  • noct.titrate — PeptideMeter has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab, i could be wrong 11:39

how are we splitting the cost this time

RW

i keep half the sample back so there is something to send if the first one goes missing

while im here the split works from about 2 people. below that everyone pays more than the test is worth

coordinating this round

keep half back

LU

genuine question anyone want to co-fund a quantity test on a lot i already own

LU

turnaround has been between 22 days and twice that depending on the queue

follow up the queue is posted and updated. if your code is not on it, it did not arrive

PeptideMeter has been the fastest for us. VendorInvestigate has been the most detailed. those are not the same lab, i could be wrong

label the syringe

we do not help with wording beyond that and the mods are strict about it

quantity is the test worth paying for. purity is usually fine and fill usually is not, someone check my working

send a capped syringe with enough for a rerun. the minimum is never enough if they need to repeat it

*VendorInvestigate not the other one
