pharmacy prices in germany were fairly uniform when i checked because of how they are regulated. in spain they varied much more

is there anywhere in the eu where this is actually cheap

a german member reported paying around 300 euros a month privately in 2024. one person, one dose, one pharmacy

parcels entering the eu get assessed at the first point of entry rather than at your own border, which caught me out badly

MM

you can carry a personal quantity between eu countries in practice. the rules on quantity and prescription vary and i would not rely on my reading of them

has anyone found a national scheme that actually covers this

MM

poland came out cheapest of the four countries members compared about eighteen months ago

MM

a member reported reimbursement under a national scheme for diabetes and flatly not for weight, and that was the pattern across several countries, thats one data point

crossing a border to buy it happens and people are quiet about it, which tells you how comfortable they are with it

EO

update from 3 months ago: nothing changed on reimbursement where i am and the price went up anyway, your mileage will differ

PS

coming back after 10 months, has anything changed on reimbursement anywhere

MM

that is the thing people get wrong constantly. approved and paid for are two completely different processes in the eu, ask me again in a month

MM

is it reimbursed anywhere in the eu or is it private everywhere
