for the archive a prescription from one member state is meant to be recognised in another under the cross border rules. whether the pharmacist knows that is another matter
i order about six weeks ahead because a customs delay inside the eu still cost me 21 days once, ymmv

update from 8 months ago: nothing changed on reimbursement where i am and the price went up anyway

pharmacy prices in germany were fairly uniform when i checked because of how they are regulated. in spain they varied much more, ill dig out the number

crossing a border to buy it happens and people are quiet about it, which tells you how comfortable they are with it
the cheapest eu route a member found was a local pharmacy with a local prescription, which is no help if you have neither
i had one pharmacy in another eu country refuse a foreign prescription and one accept it, same month, same paperwork

my last customs bill was about twenty two percent of declared value plus a fixed handling charge that hurt more than the tax did
