  • verify_or_dont — how do people insulate against cold rather than against heat 17:59
  • reta_resting_hr — i was wrong in here about a province covering it, i had read about a pilot programme and assumed it was policy 18:04
  • reta_resting_hr — pharmacy price in canada versus the us, is the gap as big as people claim 18:18
  • yyz_vial — quick one the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved 18:27

for the archive canadian pharmacies stocked it reliably in the periods members reported on, better than the uk did at the same time

VI

as of when i last checked, some provinces covered the diabetes indication and none i knew of covered weight outright, i think

coverage in canada is provincial and it is a patchwork. what a member in one province reported has almost never matched another

gel packs either direction

VO

the last leg across the prairies in february is the risk. the flight is heated and the truck is not

any figure in this channel is dated. canadian pricing and coverage both moved while i was reading about them

RR

pharmacy price in canada versus the us, is the gap as big as people claim

did anyone get stopped at the border bringing it back

diabetes covered, weight not

YV

quick one the canada to us gap was reported at roughly a third to a half of the us price a year or two ago, and that will have moved

powder survived a freeze

freeze thaw cycling is the concern rather than one freeze, and that is my read of it rather than a lab result

TT

coming back to this i ask for gel packs even in january because the mass slows the temperature swing, not because it warms anything, n of 1 obviously

TT

postal handled winter better than the courier for me, mostly because the courier van sat outside for hours

winter shipping, is freezing the actual risk rather than heat

VO

insulating against cold is the same kit as insulating against heat. the pack is a buffer in either direction, n of 1 obviously

nobody here can tell you what your plan covers. plans differ inside the same province, never mind between them

private plans vary by employer more than by province. two members with the same job title got different answers

VV

the depot delay in winter runs longer than in summer and that is the part people do not plan for, from memory

VV

the difference between a diabetes diagnosis and a weight indication was the whole story in every province i read about

1

the winter risk in canada is freezing rather than cooking, and this channel took a while to internalise that

quebec is different

VI

the freezing worry is more room theory than published data for these specific compounds and we should keep saying so
