separate days
#cagrilintide 2026-04-10
- cold_chain_cmdr — i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me, i have it written down somewhere 14:09
- back_from_away — two Janoshik results on the same WXT lot came back 99.2 and 99.4, closer than i expected 14:16
- bolus_bo — quick one weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit 15:27
- appetite_back — i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 3 months im still sceptical, just less so nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a… 16:29
- cold_chain_cmdr — slightly off topic but 30 in 0.5ml gives 2mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round, not advice obviously 16:59
the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule
underwhelming honestly
i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something
is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds
titrating dead slow
CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me, i have it written down somewhere
two Janoshik results on the same WXT lot came back 99.2 and 99.4, closer than i expected
monotherapy question, did appetite move for you without a GLP-1 alongside
slower than the others
genuine question dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 14 months, appetite held but weight barely moved
i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which
quick one weekly for me, same day every week, no reason beyond habit
the fullness effect hasnt faded over 2 months, unlike my semaglutide appetite curve, your mileage will differ
did the combination change your GI compared to the GLP-1 alone
unrelated but changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing
how many weeks before you noticed anything on monotherapy
thats the phase 3 one
cagrisema thats it
whats the recon people use, 20 in 3ml
amylin not glp-1
you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could
combination for me
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 3 months im still sceptical, just less so
nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like
lost 68lb over 26 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
[edited]slightly off topic but 30 in 0.5ml gives 2mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round, not advice obviously
how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
[edited]unrelated but its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake, we shall see
REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work
slightly off topic but monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
