REDEFINE is the trial
#cagrilintide 2026-03-09
- blind_submit — anyone stopped the GLP-1 and kept only this i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something 21:13
- blind_submit — is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds 21:32
- amylin_amy — did the nausea feel different to you or just less 21:47
- relabel_watch — back after 5 months, is monotherapy still a minority thing here 21:51
fullness rather than nausea
i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me
went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information
combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere
i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 11 months im still sceptical, just less so
cant separate them
lost 69lb over 15 months on the combination and i genuinely cannot apportion it
did anyone find monotherapy underwhelming
how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination
the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule
separate days
anyone stopped the GLP-1 and kept only this
i said earlier this year that monotherapy did nothing for me, and at a higher dose it did something
amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist
[edited]changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing
different not less
combination for me
right so anyone dosing this on a different day to their tirzepatide
is 2.4 the number for this too or am i confusing compounds
update on the earlier thing REDEFINE is the phase 3 programme, most of what gets quoted casually in here is earlier work
monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work
did the nausea feel different to you or just less
held mine a while
[edited]follow up CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it
is the combination just the two dosed together or a single formulation
back after 5 months, is monotherapy still a minority thing here
anyone got two Medutest results on the same QSC lot for this
held at 0.25 for 2 months on monotherapy before i touched it again
amylin not glp-1
is the weekly schedule the same here
slower than the others
monotherapy did work for me, just slower and smaller than i expected
