Highlights from this day
  • amylin_amy — the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave 20:00
  • two_labs_two_answers — the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule, thats just me 20:13
  • two_labs_two_answers — two Janoshik results on the same GL Biochem lot came back 96.8 and 99, closer than i expected 20:27
  • amylin_amy — does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 25 months im still sceptical, just less so 21:21

CagriSema is cagrilintide with semaglutide and REDEFINE is the trial programme around it

for the archive went slower because the first step gave me two rough days and i took that as information

the reason nausea reads differently is timing, mine arrived on the second day rather than the first

AA

update on the earlier thing dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 17 months, appetite held but weight barely moved, ymmv

i was sceptical about monotherapy and after 2 months im still sceptical, just less so

DE

ok so i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me

DE

changed my mind on this, i started thinking amylin was the interesting bit and now i think its the pairing

stopped for 9 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose

TT

its an amylin analogue, different receptor family, so treating it as another GLP-1 is the first mistake, anyway

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent, thats just me

AA

quick one monotherapy was underwhelming for me and i say that as someone who wanted it to work

nobody should copy my schedule, im describing it because people asked what a slow ramp looks like

OD

combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere
