genuine question combination GI was worse than either alone for me, which is not what i had read anywhere

MO

amylin is about slowed gastric emptying and satiety signalling, thats the short version and im no pharmacologist

LM

is the combination just the two dosed together or a single formulation

PF

added it to an existing tirzepatide dose rather than starting both, which made attribution possible

NW

i titrated over twice as many weeks as i did on semaglutide and that was right for me, ymmv

PF

the fullness thing is the part people describe differently, food stops being interesting rather than repellent

NW

£240 for a 10 vial and it lasts me longer than the GLP-1 does at my doses

P2

the nausea felt different rather than less, more fullness and less of the queasy wave

update on the earlier thing 15 in 2.5ml gives 10mg/ml which is what i use, purely because the units come out round, we shall see

i keep the two on separate days so if something goes wrong i have a chance of knowing which

the combination is the thing with trial data behind it, monotherapy in here is mostly us guessing

PF

did anyone add this to an existing cagrilintide dose rather than starting both

VB

Inter-lab diff for lot F-1330: 99.2% vs 99%. Within expected range.

LM

dosing them on different days made no difference i could detect

PF

the slower titration in here is community habit as much as anything, the trials had their own schedule, from memory

Cagrilintide monotherapy, dose ranging. The combination trials came later.

the numbers everyone quotes come from the combination, so comparing them to monotherapy logs is unfair

BW

how do people separate which of the two is doing what in a combination

🧊1🎉8

monotherapy here

OO

does the fullness effect fade the way appetite suppression does

OO

you cannot tell which of the two is doing what in a combination and i stopped pretending i could, ill dig out the number

held at 7.5 for 3 months on monotherapy before i touched it again

anyone holding at 2.4 for a while before stepping

update on the earlier thing stopped for 7 months and the fullness went within a fortnight of the last dose

OO

two Medutest results on the same WXT lot came back 97.4 and 96.8, closer than i expected

PF

dropped the GLP-1 and stayed on this alone for 7 months, appetite held but weight barely moved
