MM

baseline, three months, then twice a year is what i settled on

SO

coming back to this a1c is a ninety day average. retesting at week six tells you almost nothing

[edited]

egfr dropped a few points, dehydration or something real

ferritin and b12 fall quietly when you are barely eating. check them twice a year

MM

anyone have before and after numbers they are willing to post

SH

the most useful thing i did was get a full panel before i started. everything since has been comparable

my numbers: a1c and triglycerides both moved a lot, ldl barely moved at all

QH

lipase slightly over range with no symptoms, how worried should i be

QH

what would make you stop and go and see somebody rather than post here

i had a potassium that came back high and the repeat was normal. the tube had been knocked about

SH

if you only get one thing, get a fasting insulin. it is the one that becomes impossible later

apob if you can

⚠️1🙏2

update from 9 months ago: a1c down, apob unchanged, and i am genuinely annoyed about the apob, thats one data point

fast properly or do not bother. an eight hour fast and a twelve hour fast are different tests
