the automated pass runs after the day seals, not live, so you cant watch it work
#archive-notes 2026-06-19
quiet channels genuinely have empty days and empty pages dont get published
if you quote a date from here say UTC, the regional channels have had real confusion about it, still working it out
there is no window on a redaction request, any published line at any time
ok so the timestamp confusion is the most asked thing in here and ive answered it every year since 2024
quiet channels genuinely have empty days and empty pages dont get published
logged and sealed
ok so i tested the link stripper four times in 2024 and it won every time, not advice obviously
are reply quotes preserved if the quoted line got redacted
is a day sealed at midnight UTC or at some other point
typos are load bearing
how long does a redaction request usually take
the redaction marker links to the policy page so nobody has to guess what happened
it says a day is unavailable and deliberately doesnt say which reason, because that would leak a redaction
do i have to give a reason for a redaction
the duplicate timestamps are real, two people typing in the same minute get the same stamp
i asked for two lines out and it took about 5 days with no questions asked
i asked for two lines out and it took about 13 days with no questions asked, your mileage will differ
policy page covers it
still confuses me
thats the seal
exports are one file per channel per day because thats the shape the logger writes
