- pbs_pip — anyone shipping to a rural australian address, does the last leg kill it 17:32
- LC_MS_Lena — as of a year or so ago there was no nz reimbursement for weight indications at all, so check rather than taking that as current 20:00
- cold_chain_cmdr — pharmac had not funded it for weight when i last read about it and the nz members in here were all paying privately 20:47
coming back after 5 months, is supply any better in australia now
is it cheaper through a clinic or a pharmacy in australia
update from 11 months ago: supply where i am steadied and the price never came back down
anyone shipping to a rural australian address, does the last leg kill it
the seasonal thing works both ways. a july parcel into australia is an easy parcel, for what its worth
a member in perth and a member in melbourne reported completely different transit times on the same supplier in the same month
summer is the risk
tga and the shortage notices, is that still going where people are
the members who were on a compounded version mostly moved to the branded product and paid more, from what i saw
i was wrong about the compounding change taking effect immediately, it was phased, and i had told three people otherwise
does anyone hold off ordering between december and february
the last leg to a rural address is where it bakes. the depot and the van are hotter than the plane ever was
wouldnt risk reconstituted
i pay for the fastest service in summer purely to shorten the hot part, not to get it any sooner
supply steadied here
the depot is the problem
for the archive anyone had a parcel sit in a hot depot for 5 days
pharmac in new zealand, has anything moved on funding
what does a pharmacist in australia say if you just ask about supply
pbs is diabetes only afaik
[edited]powder survived
three gel packs
australian figures members reported ran from about 130 to 400 a month depending on route and dose, as of about a year ago
nz supply has tracked australian supply closely in everything members have reported. the two markets are not independent
that was a year ago
check thats still true
did anyone stockpile before the compounding change came in
quick one nz members have consistently reported worse availability and higher prices than australia. that is anecdote, but it is repeated anecdote
as of a year or so ago there was no nz reimbursement for weight indications at all, so check rather than taking that as current
transit was 16 days for me and the tracking went dark for a week in the middle, which is normal for that route
the pharmacist i asked was straightforward about supply and had no idea about anything else, which is fair enough
pharmac hasnt funded it
member reported figure
keep a spare month
nobody here can tell you what is allowed in australia and the mods will stop that conversation
did the compounding rule change actually stop everything or just the big places
is there a temperature controlled option worth paying for into australia
are the rules in nz the same or completely separate
pharmac had not funded it for weight when i last read about it and the nz members in here were all paying privately
clinic versus pharmacy came out roughly even for me once the consult fees were counted in, take that with a pinch of salt
dont order in january
