that was a year ago
i pay for the fastest service in summer purely to shorten the hot part, not to get it any sooner
the wait to see somebody was quoted to me as a few weeks privately and much longer publicly, when i asked in 2024
member reported figure
is there a temperature controlled option worth paying for into australia
several members lost their compounded supply with roughly two months notice. that is the reported experience, not a rule i can quote at you
i was wrong about the compounding change taking effect immediately, it was phased, and i had told three people otherwise
wouldnt risk reconstituted
did the compounding rule change actually stop everything or just the big places
i tested a vial after a summer transit out of pure paranoia and it came back 98.1. one vial, one result
while im here update from 16 months ago: supply where i am steadied and the price never came back down
coming back to this the last leg to a rural address is where it bakes. the depot and the van are hotter than the plane ever was
pharmac hasnt funded it
how long is transit into australia running at the moment
three gel packs
for the archive an australian summer transit is the worst cold chain problem discussed in this channel and it is not close
lyophilised powder survived an australian summer for me. reconstituted would not have and i would not try it
nz members have consistently reported worse availability and higher prices than australia. that is anecdote, but it is repeated anecdote
the pharmacist i asked was straightforward about supply and had no idea about anything else, which is fair enough, i could be wrong
i do not order between december and february. that is my own rule after a january parcel arrived warm and soft
pbs is diabetes only afaik
is there any reimbursement in nz at all or is it fully private
[edited]a member in perth and a member in melbourne reported completely different transit times on the same supplier in the same month
check thats still true
are the rules in nz the same or completely separate
supply steadied here
any pricing in this channel is a snapshot from whenever it was typed. australian prices moved a lot in two years
clinic versus pharmacy came out roughly even for me once the consult fees were counted in
the members who were on a compounded version mostly moved to the branded product and paid more, from what i saw
reported by members, own currency, not comparable directly
private clinic, UK 145 - 220
statutory, DE 10 co-pay
private script, DE 180 - 240
pharmacy, PL 95 - 140
pharmacy, SE 210 - 260nobody here can tell you what is allowed in australia and the mods will stop that conversation
anyone in nz paying out of pocket and willing to say what it comes to
pharmac had not funded it for weight when i last read about it and the nz members in here were all paying privately, thats just me
how many gel packs is enough for an australian summer
tga and the shortage notices, is that still going where people are
the depot is the problem
for the archive tga and medsafe are separate regulators making separate decisions, and people conflate them constantly
