handles are published as handles. no real names, no locations more specific than a country or a large city, no employers

any published line, any time, forever. there is no window and there is no expiry

does a redaction remove the whole day or just the line

just the line by default, replaced with a marker so the conversation still reads. if a whole exchange needs to go, it goes

and if someone leaves the community entirely

leaving does not automatically unpublish anything, because half of these conversations only make sense with all the voices in them

what about the vendor conversations. some of those are quite pointed

they stay pointed. if we said a batch tested badly and we had a document, that is a record and it is publishable

probably a little, and i have thought about it a lot. the alternative is that everything we have learned stays in a private room for eleven hundred people

the mental-health channel is the one im thinking about

me too. that channel gets the most careful treatment and the lowest bar for redaction. if in doubt there, it comes out

that is the right call and it is why im comfortable with the rest of it
